The first delivered saw had dimples on places where the packaging had no damage. It was therefore returned. The replacement device appeared to have been even unpacked before; at least intimated that loosely folded connecting cable out. Externally, although no damage was noted, but the upper wheel was easy to deduct from the axis. The snap ring, the wheel should be fixed, loosely place the housing lying. But even after defect has the saw could not be put into operation, as the drive belt slipped off the motor shaft. The tensioning of the belt (by loosening and shifting the engine) was not described in the instructions, so obviously belongs not to the work that has to carry out before using the saw to the buyer. After some fumbling the belt could nevertheless be tensioned by feel. Only then described in the manual steps (attachments, setting the blade guides) could be addressed. When setting the lower guide rollers, the use of a flashlight and a small screwdriver proved (to move the rear supporting role) as helpful. The first test cuts with the saw carefully selected were promising. Of course, the device does not have the power of a "large" saw (which was not expected). But with a clear feed it went smoothly through oak of about 7 cm. From a piece of birch wood of approximately 8 cm in diameter a neat slice of about 2.5 mm thickness was cut on the rip fence. Even with the supplied bandsaw were amazingly tight radii are cut into a pine board 2 cm thick. The unit is therefore included in the workshop.
