Again a great novel, even better than the previous ones: a good plot where the queen is compromised, the French and British navy in play, puzzle pieces that are placed and then moves, which ultimately find their place. Beautiful descriptions of life in the 18th century, the places, the people, the food ... Easier reading, more fluid than in the previous: there are no passages psychology and phylosophy difficult first reading. The trio (Mr de Noblecourt, Bourdeau and Nicolas Le Floch) is really exciting this time with touches of humor, and a lot of spread friendship.
