Obviously, the impact of the characters has much as Elena and his cronies are still as endearing. We discover in this second part, the family of Elena and even his parents are fairly stereotypical, it is not the same with his brother seems tortured and vindictive. We also discover the magic that is banned in Ixia but omnipotent in Sitia. Finally, we discover another mode of governing that leaves room for individuality and free will.
Far from Valek, Elena who had come to learn will quickly take the measure of the task that awaits him, especially given the hostility that reflects it. She will succeed in thwarting plots and acclimatise in this country so familiar and yet so far that does not seem to want her?
History is always exciting as the action is at the rendezvous, whether physical or magical combat, not to mention humor that rhythm playback (the contribution is immense horses). I really loved everything about this book.
I had thought that the novelty of the world discovered in the first volume could not be repeated in the second volume yet, though! Everything is different in this second part: the political situation, the situation of Elena and especially the magical dimension that rules Sitia. The pages of the book marched, ever faster until the end and I had to control myself not to immediately jump on the third pane.
I loved the antagonism developed between Ixia and Sitia, revealing to the reader that everything has its qualities but also its flaws ... Whether modes of government, people, action, or the inaction ... Nothing is all white or all black!
In the end, the author has made even stronger than the first volume. I hope that the third volume will be even better !!!
