Scope of supply:
The scope of supply is relatively good. The MOBI is located in a transparent plastic box, as its MOBI1 in which there is also a USB cable and associated to MOBI pocket. The bag is well made and is the same as when MOBI1. When the MOBI somewhere accepts with, they should be able to protect it from scratches. 5/5 *
The new design:
The design is different, apart from the fact that it is round, relatively strong first of the MOBI-generation.
The colors are (so far) only Scharz and White are available, which are held in matt Allerding MOBI 2. I like it very well because it brings significant benefits, which are:
- Not as prone to scratches
- No fingerprints
- Somehow a little better 'grip'
- Matte colors are generally somewhat valent because it looks for high-quality plastic and not so easy to breakoff / kratzbarem plastic
The color of the switches and buttons, as held in the pictures, in an orange-red, which is veeeery similar or comparable to the Red Beats articles. The red blends, at least with the white version that I have, very well and provides a good contrast; so that you can always find the buttons well.
The LED looks a little better integrated, is not quite as extreme as in the light MOBI1 and shine with my white Mobi a bit by the white by what just looks very cool on the red charging light! 5/5 *
Processing:
The build quality is better than with my two MOBI1's in my MOBI2 clear.
Everything fits perfectly, the switch does not wobble and the folding and unfolding works perfectly. That was when my MOBI 1 not always the case. The only thing I, as the MOBI1 but would also criticize the fact that the cable when it repeatedly plugging into the provided slots (which incidentally is also somehow better than the MOBI1), then my feeling for it may possibly somehow a cable break occur. I was personally but with any of my two MOBI1 and so I give 5 * anyway. If there which should change that comes here in the review. It is positive that we then still could use the Bluetooth function.
Operation:
The operation is self-explanatory The switch has 3 positions:. OFF, ON and Bluetooth. Once one changes the switch to Bluetooth you get an audible (spoken ö.Ö) signal that Bluetooth is active. So mobile phone out, and look at Bluetooth device. The MOBI was found right away, I was able to connect within 1-2 seconds and me move away more than 20 meters from Mobi. This has the connection not mind. - TOP! The only thing that really bothers me is something that you do when you turn on Bluetooth, a voice signal via activation receives every time - a signal for successful bonding would in my opinion rich and the whole is something disturbing. A 'plink' would have sufficed. ^^
In general, the service is perfect, but this voice annoys me somewhat. But I prefer 1.5 stars from in this category. Stay 3.5 *
The sound:
WOW !! - I was surprised at what the MOBI1 was possible but what comes out of this incredible part and despite the fact that I myself have heard it, I do not still believe that that may be physically possible. : D
Connected to my phone, the MOBI2 is again about 20% louder than its predecessor and has a much clearer sound that is well coordinated. The bass seems a bit strong and the sound is generally, in the mid and high frequencies become significantly bulkier than that of the predecessor.
Having the MOBI adequately tested on cell phone, I once joined him with my Logitech Z623 sound system on your PC. (What's going quite well because on the right satellite, a 3.5 mm plug is located)
- Even at 80% volume has approximately the volume achieved in the one must turn a little quieter to talk normally. at 100% was normal no longer entertain possible and it was louder than the MOBI1. - At this point the Mobi1 began slightly distorting!
Not so with the MOBI2 - the screams still for more! So I turn the knob on my Satellite, the normal way is approximately 70%, high. All about 15% cause of this knob almost a doubling of the volume! The MOBI do not care, the sound obese uniform and it was impossible to perceive only a distortion for me. Entertain is no longer possible in this volume. You had to shout really easy. - The madness, I'm thrilled! - To mention perhaps more that I have tested almost every genre: Whether Jazz, Dubstep, Electro, Rock, Metal, Hard Style, Pop or Acapella - It was all there and everything remains absolutely clean and without Knartschen. That's the way it has to be!
Conclusion:
Since I had the MOBI 1 already, I was well aware that I can count on Wavemaster with quality apart (time of the short cable (But where should a longer also accommodate) -?. Consequently, my expectations were high here And yet. they were far exceeded!
The sound is terrific (not only for this small size !!), the Bluetooth connection facilitates a life significantly, the processing is perfect, beautiful design and all in all there is nothing I do not like on the device REALLY except the voice output when activating the Bluetooth '.
What I would wish for the next generation, perhaps, would be that you simply omits the integrated cable, a 3.5mm plug instead reinbaut and twice as long sided 3.5mm cable simply mitliefert. So you have also the cable mode more leeway, less the risk of a cable break and if one should occur could be the cable just for lion euros, or 2, buy new.
Soein small cable could also entraining some comfortable with the bag. (:
All in all you can for the price - and even twice, not really expect more. If you can not you decide between any portable speakers just - Here's your choice! Just buy it from me!
