What has disturbed me a bit about the book was the easy anti-vegan Touch. I am vegan and stand fully behind the vegan lifestyle, have also appropriated me a lot of knowledge, and I am convinced of the positive impact on health 100%. (Who does know me, how rarely I commit myself to 100%.) What is written in the book on gluten / corn, I felt as really valuable in a few passages, which went beyond the corn I thought, however, the authors would have done better to confine her special subject and not to bring badly researched Halbwissen from another area.
If you want to learn something about healthy eating through the grain addition, the had "The 80/10/10 Diet" by Graham or "Eat to Live" set by Fuhrman warmly.
Graham also mentioned briefly why cereal is sub-optimal for humans. However Dangerous Grains was the first book I have read, which deals only with grains. Should I even come across a better book to the subject, I will add that here, until then may I recommend Dangerous Grains.
