The TCL-X100 delivers - not only in the context that it is "only" a converter is - an impressive optical performance. The sharpness is excellent. The Vignette assumes compared to the 23mm standard lens to something. I have the converter to a X100T in the studio at medium aperture with a Nikkor 2.8 24-70 (at 50mm, attached to a Nikon D3) compared (static motive, no charts, so no "scientific" test). The Fuji combo was at least equal. Certainly of course thanks to the higher resolution sensor, but I would not expect so first. The build quality is very good. Whether an increase in focal length 33mm (50mm full frame equivalent) for one's own work has an added value, everyone must decide for themselves. As I always fluctuated too analog Meßsucherzeiten in Street- and travel range between 35mm and 50mm, the TCL is an ideal complement to my X100T and X100 for me.
