I passed the Digital SLR (Canon 5D Mark II large and heavy) to this unit completely opposite, small and light. I was serving the reflex for landscape photos mainly. The bottom line: this Sony camera takes photos just as good, for a price about 3 times less. Well, obviously, for other types of pictures or if we talk about the autonomy of the battery, the SLR is a winner. A fully loaded battery of this little device allows the better to make 300 photos, is more than double for a reflex.
