I have the P7700 for several months and no longer give it ago. And, although I was 2 years busy to buy cameras and re-sell, somewhere there was always something to complain about ...
Opened up to me to operate the camera immediately (if only I had only read the manual ....), so I had a short time of helplessness at recognize that the camera is extremely fast to use, almost everything at hand, and not as my Nikon 1 V1 hidden in a menu, sacrificed themselves important functions the purism.
Worth of gold are the fast lens, the wheel for exposure (after +/- 3 stops) and the vari-angle display. Then even the precise autofocus, which never actually beside it, lifelike color and white balance.
The camera may seem slow compared to Nikon 1 system, but that is of no consequence to me. The picture quality is really excellent and different from those of the 1 V1 not really, I often have the feeling that the P7700 is better. However, so far had belongings in the V1 only Kitzoom in use.
Indirect and off-camera flash is possible with the P7700 (with the V1 does not ...), I've therefor a Metz 44 AF 1 bought, which is low, tilting and turning, and simply ingenious. Then one Neoprene wrist strap of meymoon (also available from JJC), feels good and is particularly safe.
The P7700 is really the perfect camera for me, the image quality outstanding, color reproduction and white balance are lifelike, the unchained lightning fun. The equipment with the vari-angle monitor and the good appearance can actually nothing to be (my) wishes.
I would advise anyone who is looking for a new camera, recommend the P7700, heck a seeker be, the P7800.
