After much deliberation, I have decided for the Sony PRS-T2. Compared to other eReaders in this price range, although it has no backlight, but in my opinion, an ebook reader is also imitate only a real book, and has no lighting. In any case, is read in warm candlelight much cozier than to stare at a lighted screen. The processing of the device is Sony-typical top! Nothing creaks or squeaks. Moreover, the black model is equipped with a matte finish so that there are no disturbing reflections. The keys have a strong tactile feedback and can be operated well. Disturbing is possibly that they are a bit noisy. Thanks to Android (but can not install apps without root), the operation is very intuitive, and also supports 2-finger zoom gestures as known from mobile ago. The display is crisp thanks to the Pearl-ink displays sharp, ghosting effects are relatively low and the flip is quite fast. Main selling point for me was that the PRS-T2 compared to its competitors may also constitute PDFs largely error-free. So I could even read a manga without any problems on the device and thanks to the break function are also PDFs with longer text is no problem. Too bad I think Sony has waived the MP-3 function of its predecessor. Furthermore, takes the a and off in my opinion quite long. And as with all eBook readers also still missing a sleeve.
CONCLUSION: Despite the lack of lighting, for me the best quality eBook reader on the market. Especially the good PDF presentation convinced me.
