The rollers always give information as to what skates are built primarily. The roles of the model "Zoe" is a diameter of 80mm and a hardness of 80a both very large and quite soft. Soft wheels provide a more comfortable ride on rougher surfaces, but also wear more rapidly. Large wheels provide high top speeds, are for but not as agile in the curves as small parts or when starting not so fast from the feet. These shoes are so less something for halfpipes or the stop-and-go meander through downtown. Therefore they are ideal for fitness and longer tours, for example on concrete paths through parks.
RAIL and ball bearings (ABEC 5) are well suited for all-round blades, as one is used to from K2. Maintenance and cleaning are simple, driving feel and power transmission are excellent.
The shoe is thought out nice for a soft boot, but also has small weaknesses.
+ Two spacious, fixed loops on tongue and back make donning and carry around comfortably.
+ The shaft is relatively low and is supported at the rear by a portion of hard shell which stabilizes the ankle in conjunction with the upper buckle.
+ The interior is soft and comfortable and produces no unpleasant pressure on top of the foot and shin. Super for long journeys without big feet!
+ The breathable surface of the soft boot ensures a pleasant climate inside the shoe. After a three-hour tour around the city I had for once not sweaty socks - that really excites me.
+ The combination of laces to above the ankle, velcro power strap for securing the laces and buckle above the ankle there, mostly quite precisely adjust the shoe to the foot allowed.
- Unfortunately, the size is a rather short and seems to be designed for wider feet with high instep and heel, which unfortunately can not be optimally adjusted in the heel area. I have both sideways and upwards too much room for maneuver to really maneuver safely in the shoes to be able despite thicker socks. On a straight road that is not an issue, but the weight transfer during braking and cornering ensures reduced control. It looks for every foot of course different, but a second buckle with hard support like my other soft shells would have eliminated the problem for all foot shapes, so I can not give full five stars.
CONCLUSION
Very good quality and well thought out in design skates, but unfortunately not for every foot. Since the shoes be brief and not provide enough grip with narrower heels, I would advise against the blind purchase without fitting more. With respect to any other factors I can recommend the shoes without hesitation.
