Have connected to my laptop with the 5m USB Cable Oehlbach my D / A converter (Cambridge DacMagic Plus). Works just fine. It should be mentioned that the connection of external sound cards or D / A converters via USB is particularly problematic. According to the manual, the cable length must not exceed 3m. However, from the practice, I can report that in this also Cable 5m are not a problem. With a 3m no-name USB cable I had quite already problems in the form of disconnections.
