This is an electronic pencil that when put on the images suitable supports the Leapfrog brand
announcing what it is + the corresponding sound. Example: if you put the pencil on the image of a helicopter, announces that the pen is a helicopter and then we are entitled to the sound of the helicopter.
It even has games to find the combination of logical images of the steps to learn how to write the letters of the alphabet, etc.
When the game is successful, there is a message "you win!"
My son is only 2 years and is very happy to play with.
There are books to buy additions to fully use the game as the book provides only contains "extracts" of the other books to show the different possibilities.
In summary the technology is quite impressive, the pen is simple to use and not harmful to children.
I recommend this play.
The only downside is that the additional books have prices ranging between 9 and 19 but in relation to technology, it unfortunately seems normal.
This would not hurt to have a "big" book with several themes within a price of 30 instead of selling many themes but with few pages.
