I want you / you describe here my experiences with the EC Technology 4000 DPI Optical Gaming Mouse.
This comes with a Quick Start Guide in English, which unfortunately does its name honor and explained only the essentials.
A driver CD is not included.
For the first start-up but this is not necessary.
Both my Windows 7 Ultimate and a computer with Windows XP recognized the mouse immediately.
This gaming mouse I specially like the following points are noticed.
The build quality is for this price range at a very high level.
The USB connector is gold plated and the cable nylon coated in order to avoid distortions and damage.
The matte-black surface absorbs almost no dirt and the mouse can be gripped very well.
On the bottom are up and down small elevations which ensure that the sensor does not slip through the thus generated little distance from the pad through the mud.
The wheel runs laterally no match with a noticeable dithering which I prefer at work and at play and has.
The key pressure points are clear and are each confirmed by a clearly audible click.
The LED lighting I find it very successful.
Pressing the dpi switch can be set four preset resolution / sampling level, which are then signaled ascending by the following colors.
Red (800) / Green (1600) / Blue (3200) / Violet (4000dpi)
To see these are left and right side, at the wheel and the ECT-Logo
However, the EC Technology lettering is something clearly visible to me.
Here I would have liked a more subtle self-promotion.
The gaming performance is outstanding.
The mouse is the control commands to directly and absolutely correct.
I never thought Crysis 3 with such a cheap mouse to play so well.
I am anyway not a fan of several buttons on the mouse, that gives me this "Spartan" facilities against with 6 buttons.
I prefer to just use the keyboard.
The driver for the mouse can be downloaded from the manufacturer's site.
So many more features such as macros, profiles, key programming and an extensive control of LED lighting are possible.
All in all, this mouse much more than one would expect the price.
The quality is above average, as is the functionality and tracking power.
I can 100% recommend this 4000dpi mouse so it has convinced me!
I hope this review could assist you in your buying decision
