Excellent hardware and miserable quality assurance!

The One is the newest flagship of HTC - and rightly so! Currently, I can not imagine a better phone. Since you already can read to satisfy any of the positive aspects of this phone here I shall be brief at the positives. In principle, there are only positives.

Yes, it is incredibly fast, the camera is pointed and the display sharper than anything I've ever seen, with very great and natural colors. The battery life is also very good, the boom sound a skin around and Sense 5 is really fun.

Well might you ask yourself: "Why is he then not 5 star?"

Well, actually I had to give so before 5 star after I did my first one in his hands. This pointed to a couple of workmanship. The display was not fitted properly, stood up and left out was lowered to the bottom. At the edges had sharp edges and the vibrating alarm was a blow and clattered all weird as if any part loose inside. Otherwise, however, I was very excited about the mobile phone, the best I've ever had. "Very well," I thought to myself, "This can happen even once." Because I can expect a tidy mobile processed for 600 like any customer, I am quickly to the friendly service from Amazon turned and thought with my replacement device is the thing eaten. Good Faith as I am I also still the same my old HTC One X + sold to still achieve the highest possible price. Amazon was in fact so kind to offer me to use the One until my replacement comes. Who is such a great mobile ago already like. After one day, I just wanted to reluctantly switch back to One X +. Had I but his bare left !!

Since I had are due to file transfer my "old" one next to it, I noticed immediately that the white balance is not something all right. Actually, it can not at all "white balance" call, it is rather beige. The display of the One actually has, if it is not just a one defective production, a really great, clear, bright white. Texts read-is really fun with the device. But not with my current black One. It does not radiate. It is rather to grayish beige, not white. The display is also less bright because I could compare it directly with my other one. Both phones side by side on maximum brightness. I even checked if it is really the same panel, because HTC built several in One. Both the old and the new one have the Panel ID "M7_JDI_SAMSUNG_C2_2 - the default display, which can be found in the most common ones.

"That can not be true now !!!" was my response. And even now I still do not like it quite believe and look again and again whether it is not perhaps just a bug, the phone now and then start again. One probably it is also adhesive which evaporates sometime, I thought to myself, but it just stays with the beige.

Now I'm sitting here on my third one so. Amazon has already contacted. This time it was me, but really nasty again submitted complaint. I have to be honest now already concerns to buy it again, because a fourth complaint would be me so uncomfortable that I would maybe even tollerieren the deficiencies. Unfortunately, I have on the current market in my opinion but no real alternatives. I have already had the flagships of all manufacturers in the hand and the One must nominate as a clear winner. Although the S4 hardware technology and also on benchmarks performs better, the One in everyday operation is faster. I have already tested themselves. Even the S4 has the typical pauses. With a Snapdragon S600 actually impossible. If you press on the home button you have to wait until you reach the home screen is half a second. HTC responds immediately. Also, opening the browser and other apps is somewhat faster than the One. However, this is not the hardware, but rather to the software. Apparently it creates HTC's own software more in line with the mobile phone as Samsung. But now not compared the cell phones, but the conclusion:

I confess I was so far always a big fan of HTC but with this action has me really upset the company. I hope I'm just a huge jinx and is an isolated case, because actually HTC has delivered with the mobile phone is a masterpiece. I can not speak ill of the mobile phone, because it is really great - if only I could once could hold a perfect copy in his hands.

As with HTC now so much trouble and unnecessary phone calls and trips has brought to the post office, I just can not give 5 stars, even if the mobile phone has this deserves to be. At the end there are 3 hardware 5+ processing defects 1. I can only everyone who has an impeccable copy compliment, and will also not advise against buying, sure I had bad luck, but I can not approve of such a bad quality easily.

I'm trying it now even a fourth time, hoping that at last peace is, but if this is already having an error changed with a heavy heart to the competition ...
