I'm happy, it surpasses the G35 from Logitech that I was not at all more and was less expensive than the Triton certainly known, but overpriced.
However, a downside:
- The bass is weak base you will certainly need to settle them via the corsair software, otherwise you will really feel it.
- There is a background noise when a software using voice entry is launched, which is stronger when cutting the microphone via the control box. This seems to be a common problem with headphones, Corsair refuses to admit. The noise is not really annoying if you have any music or other sound to cover it (as a game), but if you are just talking, you will notice white in moments.
- The control box pretty hot when you disable the mic input, make attention to it, there is nothing to burn, but it can surprise.
- Speaking of Boutier ... Why, please, tell me why manufacturers continue to make control boxes as they are the primary source of bad contacts when the headset begins to age a bit? Why not do like Logitech and put these commands on a headset, eliminating in addition to seeking this case? Because unfortunately after a year, I'm paying attention to what I buy, especially in IT, but I have a bad contact in this case that cuts some of the sound. Request technical support waiting for at Corsair back guarantee.
Apart from that, the headset is excellent in his field, ie the sound. Fortunately, this is what we expect from him first, and the microphone is very well made too.
Still, my next purchase will be wireless, and I think taking the 2000, which is an evolution of it and avoiding a remote control concerns, and thread lying around.
