Customer Review

Through the fate of two children, an unknown portion of the history of France is told with a strand of humanism, sometimes tinged with irony to these heroes dreaming of absolute magnitude.
All this is well balanced and expertly: the plot to the perfect description of the characters not from a superb recreation of the bay of Rio in the sixteenth century (real for some!).
Anything goes, factionalism, political connections, ideological clashes, religious.
Roman reading to his little known historical aspect but also for the impressive quality of his writing.
