Having thousands of old slides to scan, after a long study, I finally bought this camera and am very happy. A high quality product, easy to use effectively by amateur. The strip of implementation of the slides is very ergonomic. Positives: Quality: A real slide scanner dedicated, high performance and fast enough (given the quality of results). The software is supplied with efficient, easy to use and very complete: it makes the treatment dimage requested directly on the picture raw 48 bit before storing. So in almost all cases it ny has more to retouch images. The scan quality obtained has nothing to do with that small dedicated scanners, cheap and faster: these are not actually that bad cameras which photograph the slide with a very poor result). Here it comes much of a real scanner, resolution up to 7200 ppi. In practice the régalges to 2400ppi or 3600 are sufficient because it is a true resolution, not interpolated resolution as shown on other devices. The color rendering, dynamics, accuracy are excellent. Speed: In practice, it is possible fast slide scanner two per minute, all inclusive, but it is best to make the most of what the device can do, we must then rely a little more than a minute per slide all included: introduction , preview, customized settings and corrections for each slide, scanning and archiving. Comparison with others: Despite excellent quality, this scanner could not save catastrophic slides extremely underexposed where to search portions that are too dark, it may bring up a grain of scanning.
