I was looking for a PC 15 inches, good enough, full HD, light and beautiful design, for a budget of about 500. Difficult to have all these criteria for the price. I was afraid that with I3 processor, I am disappointed with performance limits too. Well no !! Pleasantly surprised with this release R553LN DM553H-Core I3 24GB SSD. Feedback after 10 days of use: Pro package. (Thank you Amazon !!): I open my laptop and discovered neat design: black / silver and bi-material aluminum surface for the hood, circling the trackpad and the keyboard: it is the most beautiful effect. The plastic shell is limited below the laptop. Keypad Navigation comfort and Track pad: pleasant. The Num lock LED, Shift, Wifi are on top of the keyboard always visible and not hidden by the wrist as in other versions. Ventilation is up (at the base of the screen, discreet, silent): it does not heat the legs; o) The sound with the technology "SonicMaster" is really stunning. Well do not expect a sound with "bass boost" of HIFI, but of infinite clarity, crystal clear and just, with a nice little surround effect and without saturation. It's really well run for a laptop. Light enough, of good quality, and comfortable use: I find myself to take the place of my tablet on the couch to have a big screen. 10 seconds at start, 2 to 3 seconds from sleep, it's simply stunning. For avid against Windows 7 user long time: you really get used to Windows 8.1 with its advantages and disadvantages (Highly Version 10). IMPORTANT INFO for those with WIFI connection issues that jump: do not send your laptop, this is NOT an ASUS problem is because the Windows drivers !! WIFI card. I solved this bug by downloading and installing the drivers for the card directly from the ASUS website. Nickel and it works! : O) => Highly Windows fixes this bug because some MAJ Windows update, I have to reinstall! (In 2 minutes though). I use it for work, surfing, office, photo editing, powerful but not tested video games (I think it is not for AC). Downside: the dedicated key "Asus Vivo" just right of the "backspace" and "Enter key" rather misplaced: I enabled too often by mistake. Fortunately, by pressing again above: this hides its functionality. Brief 500 approx. I'm really satisfied: a sleek portable, lightweight, efficient, well assembled and breathable quality.
