I discovered this saga by chance and I was excited from the start. The rest pays tribute to his predecessor, Gemmell offering to tell the adventures of the son of Connavar, hero of the first volume. As usual, the author gives us a well featured company where we print limit to live there ourselves, very thorough and very pleasant characters. To say that we enter the story is a brainer.
The magic is of course present, but sparingly, as in the first volume, which makes the right amount and not something indigestible.
As for editing, no complaints, the Bragelonne editions offers in my opinion a good product.
