With this device, the opposite is primarily an electric screwdriver and incidentally a drill but with about 200W of power consumption (0.9A / 220V) so do not expect wonders in this area: 8 mm steel and 10 mm into the wood. forget the concrete, there is no firing pin. It is therefore not for its function drill need to buy it, even if it can help.
In against part, as a screwdriver, is an excellent tool: 2 mechanical speeds (fast speed should be reserved for drilling operations) and a gentle drive controlled by the trigger used to perform screwing work effortlessly. A comprehensive system torque adjustment 20 position causes a release of the chuck when the clamping force is reached. This avoids having the screw head sinking into the wood as it happened with my drill. The set is quite heavy (1.2 kg) for stability of grip without generating too much fatigue for the operator. The automatic clamping type driver allows a quick change of ends: simply hold the clamping ring and gently pull the trigger to open the jaws to the diameter of the tip or the drill. The control for reversing the direction of rotation for tightening and loosening the chuck. The highly visible color cable is quite long (6m) to avoid the use of an extension cord inside the housing. Outside, you will be limited to the immediate vicinity with a cable passing through a window or door. It therefore limits the unwanted disconnections and risks.
The set comes in a rigid case with some accessories in a side pocket: a series of drills wood diam. 3,4,5,6,8 mm; 6 standard screwdriver bits (Phillips 4 and 2 courses) and a screwdriver bit holder. It will be supplemented by a more comprehensive package of tips and even a socket set torque wrench to achieve almost all the work of screwing and assembly.
So it is a very good tool for those in a casual but unlike the intensive use battery devices that are rather intended for frequent use and not too heavy on pain of having the discharged battery when you need it or before having completed its work (eg fixing a ceiling battens requiring the installation of a large number of screws). The drill function should be limited to the possibility of making front-holes without switching device.
