The helmet itself:
After two broken helmets in 4 years (Sennheiser PX 100 and Philipps SHB 9000) despite all the care I took to transport and handle, the V-Moda Crossfade I was first attracted by his apparent robustness: manufacturing not plastic but metal and leather, no "clipped" coins, but many saw coming assemble the pieces, a foldable headband in all directions, etc.
The headset is also very comfortable: the leather is soft and the earpiece adapts after a while your ears. It is compatible with wearing glasses without bruising the ears.
The sound:
It is also excellent! Much more balanced than most models I've tried in stores, it allows me to rediscover some pieces of music nevertheless already often heard. The most stunning is my rendering of space on some tracks: some sounds seem to come from outside of the helmet, giving the impression of listening to music in her living room rather than from a helmet. Indeed, the helmet is expensive, but it has made equivalent sound, see better than some helmets to 200 or more.
The helmet insulates quite well from the outside environment, but not totally. This is the record that I was looking for and I am therefore satisfied: be isolated without being cut off from the world (and without pushing the volume up).
Finally, the iPhone compatible cable and the shipping box "indestructible" end to complete perfectly this great product!
