A beautiful book, with beautiful illustrations, a very good choice of species, and a guide 'color' at the end of strong practical field work. The "winks" footer are sometimes a little cutesy, but most of the text is very well designed. It would be interesting to split the book in two seasons (spring-summer-fall & summer) to reduce its size to make it more transportable rando ... And what is missing: some species that necessarily would place such little space given to orchids (see Wild Orchids of France: Expanding Horizons), and a small supplementary guide on the method of determining the species from its physical characteristics (mono / dicotylédone, etc).
