Exciting as ghost, action and adventure game!

For content, I would not say as much, which is also in the description. Only so much that the player assumes the role of the writer Alan Wake and try needs to save his wife. He meets various opponents, but has in the meantime also support helping friends.

"Alan Wake" is a good game for folks like it creepy and full of action. Man passes through various environments, houses, shops and of course the forest. One can also take different cars. In between, there are flashbacks. The graphics are great, the game ran at me smoothly without crashes. It is partly so exciting that I needed a break, before I was able to continue it. You have to collect many as ammunition (partially too tight), batteries, manuscript pages, boxes with helpful content, thermos flasks (Sinnfreies collect, only for statistics), what's more read signs, can pyramids shoot (both also sinnfrei). It is important therefore to always scan all just to pay attention to yellow arrows. Life energy and the batteries of the flashlight load after some time by himself again.

It is important to consider if you want to play a chapter new expiration of the storage point that has been reached in a subsequent chapter. So better just by playing the game and later reload individual consequences.

Positives:
- Good graphics with cool effects
- Designed exciting story with video and stories of the main character and flashbacks, like a movie
- Good music, you can see whether an area is safe or dangerous

- Two additional games to the main game (play only after the main game, otherwise Spoilergefahr) as a supplement

Negatives:
- There is no manual saving, only checkpoints that are not freely available if you have so forgotten something and a certain door is already closed, you can not go back, but the section from the beginning must start, it is always only the last checkpoint available
- Through checkpoints, it may happen that you repeatedly have to repeatedly play the same scene because you are constantly killed by various Axtmördern or other enemies
Is "easy" part really difficult to play even in the mode and slightly frustrating if you have just killed a few monsters, has almost there and then but still caught -
- Difficult to play with the controller, because the occupation is not really free choice, there is only one alternative assignment because it is difficult to control the lamp securely and simultaneously shoot the enemy
- Only playable with Steam account, is a bit annoying that you look for it there first must login to play the game (although it works well, you can if necessary even offline play later), you install it basically also not on your own PC, but only installed Steam

Conclusion: Definitely recommended, by the story and the graphics you can overlook the negatives. Therefore, 5-star.
