The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time (Hardcover)

Customer Review

This is a book did I really enjoyed reading.
The story is told from the pint of view of Christopher Boone, a fifteen year old boy suffering from autism. His Relatively ordered world is shaken When he finds his neigbour's dog killed and is Suspected of being the culprit. Decided That the guilty party ought to be found and order reinstated, Christopher sets out to find out who did it - not knowing what he did finds out completely Call will change his life.
Haddon's great achievement in this book is permitting the reader to insight into autistic at least, its strangeness and its beauty. Haddon stays refreshingly free from any condescension towards the protagonist. In Particular He does not palliate the difficulties the boy and Those Who love him encounter in living with his disease.Still, Christopher is not to object of compassion. Rather, after having undergone various Ordeals, he comes to conclude that "I was brave and I wrote a book and did Means I can do anything."
