For Packaging:
Everything was neatly packed. I had the camera for 2 MiniSD card (Transcend Extreme Speed Micro SDHC 8GB Class 10 Memory Card with SD adapter), a charger (Ansmann 5307263 Photo Cam IV Connector Charger for AAA, AA) and Batteries (Ansmann - Battery Digital 1100 Micro AAA (4)) concerned.
Commissioning:
Easily. Recharge batteries, use (2 units), use SD card and go. After a successful test in the sink, it was going to go on vacation.
Handling, battery life, SD card:
Switching via button "M" from photo to video mode is quickly self-explanatory. On the left outside there is a "Land Space / Macro" button. Landscape from ca80cm provides sharp - Macro mode ca between 5 and 80cm. I have not accurately measured the underwater. I had even forgotten by Macro reset on Landscape and mind-boggling enough, has the appropriate UW video a very special touch. You must like it or just try it. The SD card has the whole 7 snorkelling courses held (I had set to 8 MP. Ca 500 photos shot and filmed about 15 minutes)
Quality photos / videos:
Certainly I'm used to from my DSLR else, but as has been written in the first lines, I had wisely scaled down my claims at the expense of the Rollei. While snorkeling we had crystal clear water (Stone coast in Istria) and I could shoot really great photos. 3-4 really great photos were taken while I would hang me as a poster without any problems. The videos are also become very beautiful - I can not complain here absolutely - for a 39 camera are the absolutely stunning results. Have shots of a common jumping into the water on the water surface some of 70's movies (color intensity, poor sound). This is something completely different. Not perfect - but I like it.
Conclusion: For 39 I had set my expectations pretty low - and the camera has pleasantly surprised me positively. Both the batteries (1.5 battery charges for snorkels 7 units) and the miniSD card (8GB have been enough for me) have super persevered. The camera was completely waterproof and both the pictures and the videos can be seen in the real price. And if the camera breaks down after the next time I'm not so disappointed as with the D10 which is now located at the Canon service (I'm waiting here for feedback on what the failure is)
