Here the evaluation after two months of use:
What positively stands out:
- The video is very good, the transmission smoothly. It is quite possible to see the child's breathing on the monitor (chest movement). This is of course only when the camera is well placed. It is also good that the camera itself (this rounded square with the illumination LEDs) can be tilted. If the base station is too high, you can tilt the camera module down.
- The night vision function (the image is black and white) works great. There are no disturbing light, everything stays nice and dark - but the picture is all to recognize.
- Operation is simple and intuitive
- The battery life of the recipient parent is absolutely sufficient (at least now at the beginning)
- Alerting at noises, even silently with vibration, works well, so far no problem
- The base station with the camera can be optionally also powered by batteries -> well on the go
What is mediocre:
- The Range. With radio transmission in buildings that is always a bit tricky ... but again, we have to say that we would have liked a more robust channel at least for the audio transmission. We have reinforced concrete ceilings, but permeates our DECT phone - the baby monitor as well, but here you have to then look for the points and may then no longer move. Toll would be here: Audio robust - the video could do without in doubt.
What is not so great:
- The plastic surface "piano finish" scratched insanely fast. For a children's product rather clumsy.
No real disadvantage - but despite "normal" use it is already being used
- The buttons (the green part) is a silicone mat, acting thin. I have a feeling that someday tear times.
- The intercom function (where you can talk about the receiver with the child) is something choppy. For us it sounds as if we were sitting at the edge of a radio hole - even if we get displayed full reception.
- The plug of the battery charger of the handset is one of those extremely small thin hollow plug - much thinner than it should be. Again, I would have liked a bit more robust.

What would have been great.
- A network function (and thus possibly a Koppfelung to a mobile phone), after all, Belkin's also active in the market ...
-. EV thus also an audio transmission goes via a little Gedüdel and pure voice transmission
- (Ev. Then upgrade a firmware, if that is necessary times)

Bottom line is: a decent product. Perfect does not exist probably - also the other baby monitors in the circle so have their own characteristics.
Against the backdrop of the 3 stars are not regarded as "poor". Depending on the assessment of individual points, the product is well usable. For the offer price I would buy it again - for the normal list price (at the time of this review) rather not.
