Extensively tested, super game, but does not keep all its promises

The Design:
There not much to say, the animations, the characters, everything here is really designed very sympathetic. The connection to the well-known tower defense game is more than successful here.

The character:
The characters can be improved with booster packs and tasks. In addition, there are a variety of new Chars you can unlock. Not every character is in itself something special, but one or the other character is special for one or two players. So you can find here quickly his favorite Char.

The Maps:
The maps are very well designed and most of them very clearly. Here there is no (yet) on a large selection, but that should change soon, according to EA (free DLC's should be provided)

Game modes online:
The game modes are very varied, in addition to the classic team deathmatch, there is a kind of "castle defense" for up to four players. My FAVORITE MODES is "gardens and cemeteries". In this PVP mode, the Zombie team tried gradually occupy the gardens of plants. If a conquered, must be conquered directly the next. Manage the zombies to conquer all 6 gardens, there is a kind boss level, this turns out depending on which map you are playing straight.

Game modes locally:
Here, unfortunately, is missing, the entire single-player mode. This is definitely a major shortcoming. Before now again 50 people respond: "EY, ALTER wasn das ne rating the game was announced as online game !!!! 111einseinself?"
It does not excuse the lack of single player modes, here was clearly extra-waived although it would have been no problem here to install anything else.

Now we come to the big minus of this game, the local split-screen mode is only for two players! This is in my opinion a bottomless impudence. I've got myself an extra to the game a third controller. So do not follow 50 answers on this part of the review, here's a little quote:

Co-op for four players (online or split screen): Make common cause with your friends

Means to me: Four player splitscreen.

It is generally a great pity that the new games all rely on online multiplayer. There is nothing funnier than four in front of TV to gamble together, and on "The scene is split in much too small," We used to Mario Kart four played on a 45er CRT)

As a final point I would like to say that I find it very unfortunate that mandas game can not play online in split screen.

I forgive despite everything 4/5 points as the game in person is a little masterpiece for me. The character (zombies and plants) are very good veered from the tower defense genre on the first person shooter genre. Here a lot of creative work has been done, so there is something only very rarely in today's video game world.

PS it also costs only 40, a real bargain
