First of all: I have not heard any of poorer quality CD in my whole life.
Packing:
The 2 CDs of the Deluxe Edition will be delivered in a hardcover book and are located on the inside of the book cover. It might look at first glance chic. But go easy on CD looks different.
CD Quality:
First I put CD no. 2 in my BD player of the middle class.
What came out here so incredibly bad that it downright painful to the ears.
Here you get a lot of money for a good example of what that means, among other things Loudness War.
But the loudness war is not the sole problem of recording. In the entire production chain from capture to pressing all probably have slept.
Recording and mixing is under all. The recording features a tinny, consumed, overdriven and echoing sound. There is therefore no real consolation that CD 1 sounds a little better.
Particularly painful to the piece of Paradise with Tarja. Your voice will no dynamics and completely powerless thrown into the room. The instruments roar like an icebreaker through the room. The Total acoustics is thereby completely lost.
Much worse listens to only Summertime Sadness. Suspect you will not get rid of. That this picture was taken with a smartphone.
CD 1:
An error-free convert FLAC is not possible. Read and sync errors at all tracks. The accurate value averaged 134th
The disc reading time in BD player unusually long but acceptable.
CD 1 by replacement by Amazon:
A convert to FLAC succeeded only at the 2nd attempt. The accurate value was on average 135 personal record. Otherwise only the pressures of Lana Del Ray are so lousy.
The disc reading time in BD player unusually long but acceptable.
CD 2: versing time extremely long. Convert not possible. Manual stop after 20 minutes. Synchronization error 12:00:00 00:00:22 and read errors.
CD 2 after replacement by Amazon:
Versing time extremely long. Convert not possible. Manual stop after 20 minutes. Synchronization error 12:00:00 00:00:22 and read errors.
The CDs were tested at different and also at a high quality stereo system Yamaha. Here the echoing sound was not as prominent as my Denon AVR X5200W. For obtaining a blecherneren and overdriven sound at Yamaha.
