What I want:
So a camera with a larger image sensor must be found with a good, all-purpose zoom lens, I also would like to do macro shots without changing lenses. A good compromise between size and performance seemed to be the Sony RX10, but then came the FZ1000 and for twice the focal length much my choice on this camera ...
... And what can I say, I have a factor of four will receive: for four times the amount of TZ8 and four times the weight, I get a camera that has at least four times better image quality, speed, ease of use and fun.
Much has been said about the camera here personally my main impressions:
Image Quality:
The image quality is fantastic, even at the telephoto end, the images are sharp. Clear it rushes more than a DSLR with a larger sensor, but by far not a comparison with the TZ8.
Operation:
The controls can be customized to fine. The zoom ring on the lens is too slow and I used to zoom rocker on the trigger.
Viewfinder:
How could I ever do without a viewfinder? The display on the camera remains collapsed with me. Everything I do now only on the high-resolution viewfinder.
Speed:
The autofocus and continuous shooting mode is lightning fast, as it depends certainly most DSLRs from.
Stabilizer-noise:
The much criticized noise of the anti-roll bars really makes itself only in absolute silence uncomfortable bemerkbar- no problem for me. For high-quality audio when shooting video, the built-in microcomputer is sufficient in any device and in this case I would in any case want to resort to an external variant.
Weight:
And yes, the camera is hard and not just hang comfortably around the neck. After the first photo game I had a strained shoulder. Therefore, I recommend even a bag, see below. In the case the camera together with the lens hood is protected, so that I can save my Obejektiv-cover and the camera have always immediately accessible with one hand.
Housing
The housing total makes a good impression and can hold the handle with one hand well.
Useful accessories are
- Patona 220V / 12V / 5V USB charger with 2 spare batteries (for me an alternative to 220V was important)
- Kalahari K-51 Camera Case (have already left a review on Amazon)
-Transcend SDXC UHS-I U3 64GB memory card (for continuous shooting with RAW, the card should be as fast as possible)
- Lumix Superzoom Fotoschule FZ1000 (because I will work through the next time)
Conclusion:
The climb to the FZ1000 a week ago has more than paid off for me. Finally tunes the image quality and I can shoot good pictures, where I already have my TZ8 can stuck. So photography is fun again!
