No compression effect! Property me the same 2 pairs bought in size 35/38, although I wear the Schühgröße 40, but the stockings are still too large. One pair fits reasonably comfortable to wear but has no supporting function as described. The other pair is so large that even after repeated washing the heel sits on the Acillessehne and ends the knee socks ca 10 cm above the knees. Would I buy me not again. You have probably spend but a few euros more for ordinary socks.
