Fast and reliable hard drive enclosure

Housing consists almost entirely of metal. The only thing that is not made of metal, are the fans, the front and rear part.
The base is also unfortunately only plastic, but has little rubber feet and is therefore very safe. The housing is clamped on the stand just above.

There behind a port for the power supply and one for the USB 3.0 cable.
In addition there are 2 buttons.
The little knob for the fan lighting.
The large knob to turn on the device.

When the LEDs turn on lights, as seen in the picture, the fan and the circle on the front of blue.

Personally, I am very pleased and happy that the machine now runs smoothly even after 3 months. I run it with a WD Black 1TB and get through conference rates of up to 156MB / s. After the transfer rate has stabilized itself, this is huge amounts of data between 98MB / s and 110MB / s. That's very good!
She goes zacking and is instantly recognized and turns the drive again gently, so that the stylus is not simply returned fire and it klackert evil.

The cooling by the fan is also good, because the bottom of the hard drive will be blowing and it stays cooler on average 3-7 ° C than my other hard drives. (In idle and under load)

The lack of which I have read in some reviews that the lighting fails, I can not confirm. I must have caught a good deal. :)

A valent Festplattenhäuse that looks good and valuable hard drive protects and cools it!

Even after 8 months still no problems. The plate purrs and ventilation cools as the first day.
Read performance, since my transition to SSD even up to 190MB / s and 160MB in the / s increased in the review. After the data rate stabilize at about 115-120MB / s.
