I bought the router as a replacement for my previous D-Link DI524. My old router had only up to a maximum WLAN 802.11g. By streaming the TV and faster Internet connection, I now needed a router with 802.11N transmission. I wanted to simultaneously acquire a modern and power-saving device. Due to the evaluation and testing of relevant magazines, I have decided for the device. The router was set up soon after the average shipping time (despite Amazon Prime) and configured the basic settings. When configuring, I have found that the firmware is not as comfortable as usual by the previous D-Link. DHCP clients must be taken, for example, in the fixed IP configuration manually instead of a click; etc (snacks). Also missing in the firmware some features. With full configuration with QoS, the surface has become noticeably slower and the router had to be resetet almost every 3 days. Now with minimal settings I only have the problem that the company laptop isolated hinbekomme no VPN connection. After subsequent reset it works. In total I have the router currently all 14 days once restart What I did not expect from my previous router. Therefore, I will look for another device. In sum for me personally the following conclusion: + Wi-Fi range and speed + Wi-Fi connection stability + Temperature and Power Consumption + Processing - Stability (software) and operating (personal no-go) - Setting Firmware
