Got 2 days before the netbook from Amazon. I bought it consciously without an operating system, all the rubbish I did not have preinstalled. Windows 7 I booted and installed from the USB stick. The board is divided into 2 partitions of Acer, Windows can be installed by default only on one, the other is apparently reserved for the Linux. However, you can delete the other partition easily and divide everything by his own taste. There go no important data is lost (except the Linux, but I did not have anyway). Then I copied the driver CD to a USB flash drive and install the drivers. That's a little more difficult, on the CD are the drivers for the various manufacturers of hardware on it, because you have to try a little bit, and let Windows search for himself. What really gefuchst was the Wi-Fi driver, herumprobiert because I long. In retrospect, I would recommend but first the hardware detection program from the Acer support site to download that provides at least determined which manufacturer when WiFi is installed. After that, the driver selection is somewhat clearer.
Otherwise, I am very satisfied with the process and the equipment. The matte screen is just great, the keyboard does not give in, and it's really pretty fast. The fan I have not heard until now. The power supply is as described a small power supply, very pleasant. I have to run with the 6-cell battery, this is at the bottom about 1 cm out, thus the netbook is not flat. However, I like the now quite good, while writing the keyboard is thus slightly inclined and therefore more comfortable for writing. When the battery is fully charged and the power option on balance is a remaining maturity of 5: 50h. I do not know if that's true, but for me is that enough perfectly.
More we can not say after such a short time, of course. So far, I'm definitely satisfied and forgive 5 stars. Everything else remains to be seen over time. But the price for money I am very satisfied. The somewhat more time-consuming installation was me beforehand aware of and it is indeed to solve without which one is a computer expert.
