I've been looking always for a valent phone that also suits me well in hand. The grade 4 was too big and too small Alpha me. The A5 provides me the desired intermediate step. Apple I have always left the finger, moreover, because I did not come with the closed system cope and I attach great importance to memory (expansion) and easy data transfer. The only marginally.
The finger sensor function of the newer Samsung models has in me never works properly so that I can see confidently when A5 over it. Also, the pulse sensor has with me always wrong data recorded ("45 Pulse" ?! so quiet, a man not to be), this feature I do not miss therefore.
The device goes through the aluminum edge and Alurrückseite a very sophisticated look and is exellent in hand. The sides are rounded and glued the display without any leeway. I had only the fear that it may be too smooth and I slipped out of his hand - but this is very nice prevented by the roughened back or the sides.
Due to the current conditions quite poor resolution I was skeptical at first, since the Alpha individual points were clearly visible. Despite supposedly the same resolution or technology and lower ppi I find the A5 display sharper and I see fewer points. Technically I can not explain that, however.
The device has detected immediately my 128GB memory card. According to the manufacturer, however, is closing at 64 GB.
The speaker is now housed next to the camera and is not like other models covered by my hand. This is a very clever solution from Samsung. However, the sound is not really tolerable for music playback. Since the HTC One models are better by far.
The camera as such makes for a smartphone pretty good pictures. You have to remember that we are dealing only a mobile phone, which is usually used for snapshots again. Sensible Bildstabilator, Wide etc. can be found only in "real" cameras. I compare phones like with tens of fighters. In some disciplines it would hardly be able to keep up, but taken as a whole ....
On the day the images are very well done. Sharp and contrasty possibly a little rotlastig. At dusk and at night, unfortunately also helps the photo light is not really much. But the camera focuses quickly and dissolves rather quickly. Of course, not as fast as the iPhone.
Really good I find, however, the front camera with 5 megapixels and Selfie mode. At night, due to the lack of LED also useless, of course.
Call quality = very good. No noise, clear and understandable voice. Regardless whether. For me or the callers When I think of my Sony Z1 and Z2 ;-)
The software comes with no new features and is, as I'm used to from Samsung, easy to use. However, I am putting the Nova Launcher to always have a little more freedom in designing my surfaces with all Android phones. The accessories with earphone and USB 2.0 cable is also nothing new.
Whether it is a disadvantage in the long run, that the battery is firmly installed, I'll tell you later.
I am completely thrilled for 4 days of intensive use. I am happy to assist with targeted questions etc..
