Not so with this keyboard: here are all the keys of the peloton including all function and control keys on it. Only the numeric keypad is not emulated, which is ok for me, since I have no software specifically uses the numeric keypad and no Umstellmöglichkeit has. Plus point!
The keys have a clear pressure point, similar to the classic mobile phones, from a clicker, who is also the contact. How to last the keys so I can not say, since I use the device shortly. A great advantage, and which is not in the product description, the switchable backlight that illuminates the bright lettering and the contours of the keys. The caps are slightly convex and have a non-slip surface, hence with large fingers good touch and operate. The keys do not cheat and do not hang. There is also a function key CTRL-ALT-DEL, which can be used when properly installed and to log in. For presentation applications there are in addition to the scroll box on the touchpad still side-mounted PG UP and PG DN keys, and a button to activate the built-in laser pointer.
This laser is not too bright and not too weak, very good, but the key is always activated, even if the power is off! So, careful handling is required! In addition, the laser does not run over-discharge protection, and thus the risk when the device is clamped in the case that the battery tiefentlädt and will be destructed.
The Li-battery is permanently installed (also known as in all my mini keyboards) and not to change without dismantling the unit and soldering.
About the Mini-USB socket invites the battery within an hour completely from 0 to 100%, with third-party cable, other power supplies, or simply on the hub. A charging cable is included.
The touchpad can be changed in orientation by key combination. It is big enough to leave with two trains all HD screen can also be set via Control Panel. At the same time it is sufficiently precise to per "finger drawing" enter for example, Japanese Kanji, or to do simple image editing. Very big plus. The item marked with the bar area has the mentioned scroll function.
For Bluetooth:
A Bluetooth adapter Mini is housed in a compartment in the keyboard. Its installation under Windows XP is starting automatically. The adapter runs with both the MS stack, as well as with BlueSoleil 2.7 by another adapter, which is a plus point. With the included adapter, the range is about 10m in clear line of sight and about 5m when a normal wall in between. However, the keyboard also works with any other Bluetooth adapter. For example, with the built-BT of PaceBlade the range is even bigger, bigger than my apartment. The device class is BT HID, ie normal and universally compatible. After pairing the HID connection is maintained even when the battery is empty (of course no function). After switching on the keyboard it is available within one second. Also on the keyboard in standby when the host is turned off. The only drawback: The keyboard always saves only one connection. The bet can not be operated with different computers simultaneously or alternately, without carrying out a new pairing with each change. Too bad a profile switching would have been safe facilitated easy to implement. If you accidentally the "BT" button pressed during operation, the keyboard starts a new pairing. This can, however, cancel at any time by the keyboard off and on again briefly. So no problem. When pairing gives you the numerical code simply on the mini keyboard, and then "Enter". Simple and practical. For the Bluetooth performance overall a plus, because of the range.
The housing is made of lightweight plastic, well finished and sufficiently stable.
All in all, this keyboard is a real benefit, highly recommended, and thanks to the extra buttons, with their annoying cover but misses my favorite before Rii, and even before the Logitech diNovo Mini, which although looks a bit cooler the top spot.
