1. Paris sera toujours Paris: classic ZAZ as we like (or not ;-). Anyway, that was to be expected that after the last albums: afloat, and pleasant to listen to, simultaneously but not too soft flushed.
2. Paris canaille: Sounds almost after a pop song. Very catchy, were there not the typical bulky pleasant singing, but that's what makes the title.
3. A Paris: What's the happening? An "A capella" pieces! I would have expected as last. But pleasantly refreshing.
4. Dans mon Paris (Version manouche): Runs slightly decreased compared to the previous pieces. Is not to be despised, but it is typical of what there was on the other albums abound ..
5. Champs Elysées: Oha: Something else unexpected. Sounds initially a little too pompous for ZAZ, but still meets as relaxed metal fan with the harsh voice what a special charm develops. Very nice!
Sous le ciel de Paris 6: initially what to dream, developed its own momentum but then after some time and we then towards the end I think, unfortunately, a bit unimaginative and enters into a - nasty exaggerated - sonic mush on.
7. La Parisienne: A Waltz - so the first thought. However, only the first few seconds then takes the song to ride just to get back to fall in the Viennese waltz. The constant change in interest and fits well together through out. I would have been interested but right now what would come out-if we had pulled through the waltz consistently ...
8. I Love Paris Jaime Paris (en duo avec Nikki Yanofsky): Initially, I was close to deduct a star for this song, but listen to the second opened then the soundscapes. At the latest at the beginning of the English singing one feels transported into the last century. So there is no deduction ;-)
9. La romance de Paris (en duo avec Thomas Dutronc): Ok who is really a little softened ... Well, I do not like everything.
10. La complainte de la butte: What can I say. The song is a little bulky, but has something, I just do not know what ?! I think while listening but somehow less to Paris because of Amsterdam ...
11. Jaime Paris au mois de mai (en duo avec Charles Aznavour): Somehow this does not seem right touch in relation to insist on the duets. Again gurgles the whole thing for my taste a little too unstructured to himself.
12. Paris, laprès-midi: After the soft flush the ears once again what with a little more contour, but not enough to say, Jo, so I like that, but enough to still actively listen and the individual instruments in your tunes to follow that but then are quite nice (yes, I'm Franke ;-)
13 jai deux amours: Again a "pop song". Sounds almost radio friendly ;-) Like good, especially the unfamiliar prominently represented choir, who also uses just to make matters worse to the point. Perfect! More of that!
In summary: In between me disappointed the album somewhat, although it is solid. There are, however, represented enough refreshing songs which justify the five star just yet. A very good album for ZAZ fans, and also a good album as an introduction for who want to be ...
