I'm not a professional WIFI far away and I really hesitate to invest in this type of equipment having wandered on a multitude of sites where users disillusioned told their troubles with repeaters in any kind difficult to install and which WIFI enthusiasts responded with incomprehensible technical terms of common mortals ...
So I still have a look at amazon and especially on customer reviews and I tried my luck with the NETGEAR N300 which was acclaimed.
For the installation (some feverish anyway), with no WPS button on my livebox I connected to the address described in the brochure provided and I let myself be guided by the instructions and by the Netgear site following step by step the repeater configuration. In 5 minutes it was done. I easily spotted a place that could correspond to plug in an intermediate stage, right where the signal begins to weaken with the Livebox. He easily took over and my iPad connects to it perfectly. A tip: do not be daunted by the technical terms such as SSID, WPS and other gibberish!
