The first connection passee went well for me, but followed from routine and untimely disconnections (about every 4 hours), which pouvient be resolved only by rebooting the NAS. First problem known and discussed in great length on WD Community forums without having a real solution provided by WD (however, there are workarounds proposed by users).
In trying to fix the problem above, I tried to use the more advanced features provided by the disc (configuring static IP, Enabling SSH to change the basic Linux disk, etc.), but simply activate the static IP can completely retract the disc unusable !!
Both the system reset procedures do not restore the network drive configuration in DHCP mode, and the only way to solve the problem is to open the box (loss of warranty) and to flash the system "by hand" with 'original image. Here again the problem is known and reference on WD Community without solutions.
For my part, I return the product, not wanting to get into the complicated operations (although recent sense be a "simple" system for users without technical knowledge avancees).
I long to serious doubts on the quality of WD products, how can they let a product commercially as unfinished?
