From a lack of focus, as was here partly to read already, I could not find anything. In Dresden Zoo at full zoom and full aperture, the lens gives good sharp photos, which my original Nikon 70-300VR in no way inferior. Even under difficult lighting conditions, with ISO1600 or ISO3200 provides the lens still good, low-noise clear pictures without really noticeable vignetting.
Although it is not necessarily a fast lens, so beautiful yet succeed Indemnified holiday portraits.
Only on the wide angle of 18mm, the distortion is in large buildings very clearly what can be resolved relatively quickly but by EBV.
Apparently Tamron has changed the lenses something because that often initially criticized unintentional "slipping out" of the lens while wearing my lens has not shown.
A last word for image stabilization - this is simply a dream. Shooting under 1 / 40s are not a problem and although I have not exactly steady hands are even shutter speeds up to 1 / 2s quite possible! Here, the Tamron is clearly superior to my Nikon lenses.
Although I very skeptical about such previously Super zoom, this lens has convinced me and is now my everyday life and holidays "always-on" objective.
