The USB plug to connect us thick solid material and also wrapped in red / black design. At the end of the cable near the USB connector is even a small ferro-magnetic core for interference. On the underside of an optical sensor, which is illuminated by a bright red LED tinkers.
The mouse feel at the first touch of good. Although I have relatively large hands and the mouse is rather medium in size, the hand fits well to the mouse. The click paths of the two mouse buttons (left / right) are short. Each press is acknowledged with a bright-sounding 'click'. The response of these buttons I like very well, compared with my Logitech G600 even better. Double clicks can perform very precise. In the center is the detached scroll wheel. This makes no noise and does not click in the individual stages, but is also easy to operate because of its catchy structure. The scroll wheel can be achieved by pressing (Mauscklick 3), which acknowledged audibly by a "click". It is a 2-way scroll wheel. A 4-way scroll wheel would not have been bad, but is in the price range also not common.
On the left there are 2 additional programmable buttons which haptic and acoustic acknowledge as well. The manufacturer gives 5 million clicks as life. My first impression, I believe that too. The key action mechanism like it very much.
With the key in the middle of the mouse you change the sample rate. From 250dpi (dots-per-inch) to 4000 dpi can be 250-2000 dpi in 250 steps to adjust and 2000-4000 in 500 steps. You can adjust not only the steps but also if you want to have 1,2,3 or 4 DPI increments via the software. Many first-person shooter players eg play with 2 graduations: Normal and Sniper mode. Then you can deactivate the steps 3 and 4 just about the software.
The LED lighting of the mouse should not only look optically good, but show the players even at a glance what mode it is in. Via the gaming software to each DPI level a favorite color (from RGB grid completely arbitrary) assign. Likewise, you can adjust various color effects such as:
'LED Permanently on
'LED flashes when DPI change
'LED pusliert.
Who sucks the LED, can adjust the brightness between 5% and 100% free.
Besides the fact that all keys are freely programmable, also all key sequences (macros) using the included software can be programmed with. The software was run on the way Win 7 64 bit and no problem.
To really all you can even adjust the font color of the software at its own discretion satisfy.
All in all a good and affordable mouse that convinces with very good ergonomics and good feel of the mouse buttons. The form of both midsize and large hands adds good. By thumb rest (left) and the rest for the little finger (right) is relaxed playing well over a longer period without any problems. Anyone looking for a good and cheap Gamermaus without nasty surprises, can strike here.
