This is our first cross trainer. We were looking for an elliptical machine with flywheel forward, because I've read that this was knee-friendly and as our daughter, who also used it four months ago had a knee operation and will have to be careful of their lives on their knees was, the condition for us. For Maxxus 4.3 we decided because of the low price and the comparable performance with more expensive devices (at least on paper). The delivery was made by a trucking company, the appointment was agreed by phone. The elliptical machine is delivered in large parts in two large (and heavy) cartons. The unpacking, very well packed, parts and the construction lasted for two hours at us, but my husband had previously worked for a moving company and can build cabinets etc. in his sleep. All necessary screws and tools included with the elliptical machine. My husband also uses a 13mm open-end wrench because so many bolts were easier to achieve. The parts make a very strong impression. All parts are made of metal, up to the footrests. In these devices, the space requirement is not to be underestimated. For this one needs about 3.75 square meters of space and the ceiling height is so stated. The manual of the computer, however, is a bit skimpy. Perhaps we simply need a little time to understand everything. Anyway, there are many training functions with Interwall training etc. We have still not been tested. The elliptical motion is definitely comparable to other more expensive devices. The training is fun and initially met our expectations. The operation is very quiet and not be heard in adjacent rooms with the door closed. We are so far very satisfied with our decision.
