The laptop came via UPS in its original packaging from the manufacturer. A sturdy cardboard, it was damaged nothing, but so that everyone knew what the parcel service for an expensive there was in there. I personally fands not bad, you can check the package so at goods receiving. Otherwise War can not say much for the package, wrapped like any other laptop also. What I found nice was that an additional Velcro came with to avoid unsightly cable clutter. Battery supplied separately packed.
Housing and other processing like very good, all very stable and well fitted me. The only downside: The touchpad clatters when up tap. Have the compared with my old Acer device and as a noise is minimal audible. If me the disturbing yet properly in everyday life, which could be a reason for complaint policy. Otherwise, everything finds no unsightly gaps.
The beuleuchtete keyboard like me, Red is something different and you can even adjust the brightness slightly. General typing on the keyboard is very pleasant, only the Enter key is a bit strange for me (was at my Acer significantly larger) The sound stops is very limited, no loud clatter as with other devices. Top processing by Asus.
The touchpad responds quickly and accurately, the integrated left / right keys can also operate well. The only drawback here (as already mentioned): the clatter when you do not even halfway up carefully.
In normal operation the laptop is nice and quiet, fan just go under the load. As I can not yet say the volume and heat development fails currently. Get the complete in the coming days.
What I have noticed as a small minus point: On the left side are two USB ports. Unfortunately, they do not sit up but down, so I have to be careful in the future when not playing with the wrist to rest there.
All in all I am quite happy so far.

Under load, the Asus can sometimes be quite loud. Were getesten among others Mordor shadow, the new Dragon Age and various first-person shooter. Since I'm usually way soweiso in TS or have run music does not bother me the volume or she really has its limits. Such devices have to stay realistic. As for the heat development you are doing certainly be well advised to use an extra radiator. Games can it also super without, only the surface heats up pretty on the table top and also get a lot from. The laptop has only left large air vents, rear and on the right side no. In summary I can about the volume and heat generation under load not complain.
The other two shortcomings that remain, however, still I recently mentioned earlier. The touchpad still rattles and the bottom left mounted USB ports are not just advantageous.
