The RX-100 is a tick lower than the pocket and provides at the beginning there is a before, if everything fits very tightly. The lens pushes the leather slightly forward. But the leather expands with time and the camera is easy to get in and out. Still sitting nothing loose.
I wear while traveling the apparatus like the belt right and like it when you can use the bag blindly, as it is given in this model. One drives first hand in the hand strap hanging out and then open the top flap and pulling the camera out of the loop. All this can be done with one hand without looking. Even the recapping runs as easy. If you have tucked the camera back and the lid closed, dismisses one hand out of the loop. If you have the discipline and always keeps to this procedure, the camera should not go to the ground.
CONCLUSION: strong buy recommendation for the RX-100. The camera is adequately protected and the handling is Frustfrei. Compared to the price of the camera, there is the case virtually given.

29/12/2013: after a year, I have to revise my initial enthusiasm. The upper seam of the belt loop has dissolved and the trust is gone. I was afraid that the case goes unnoticed lost and have it replaced by a holiday Lowe bag when I noticed the damage. I would recommend the manufacturers, either to quilt 2 rivets for attaching to rotting or better yarn and at least 3 or 4 sutures crosswise. Until then, the bag was great, as previously described and ***** worth. I'll let tuck 2 rivets in the loop with the local cobbler.
