The EXSYS adapter works perfectly. If one has to bow out once (There is no guidance here) then the installation is a breeze.
You have to make sure that the adapter and the ExpressCard have recesses which fit into each other. Also the metal bracket fits into a recess on the opposite side of the ExpressCard. The adapter is firmly and in my notebook sits the narrow ExpressCard now as safe as a full version.
One star deduction there from me due to lack of guidance on what can already prepare a little headache for the inexperienced IT users or less technically versiertem buyer.
A small illustration with one or two views as a copy on a sheet would be sufficient already.
In my notebook there were no problems with the height of the drawer. That is probably dependent on the notebook Herteller.
The adapter is supplied by the manufacturer "okluge" very quickly. Okluge lays just off a free return label. Great service.
If the adapter so do not fit, simply glue sticker back on the envelope and send it back.
I ordered two adapters, then I can have this installed on my two main ExpressCards.

I use the adapter in a (slightly older) Dell Precision Mobile Workstation M6300 notebook.

There are obviously some ExpressCards are not "conforming to standards" set up (I have one of them).
The adapter should not fail to sit as far outside as possible. Then, the joint of the bracket does not have in the slot.
It should be so. But there ExpressCards, do not have the necessary cutouts to mount the adapter correctly.
Therefore only 3 stars because the adapter is not universally applicable.
On my DeLock ExpressCard (1GB LAN) adapter fits perfectly.
At my LogiLink (2 x USB 3.0) does not fit the adapter.
