My speakers I can agree only partially with respect to the narrow section. I would not call my feet slim and yet the shoes fits very well. But that might be because I have a shoe size at the upper end of the scale.
Positive noticed is to me that the shoe is hardly dirty and looks still very neat, although I have worn it nearly every day throughout the summer.
The only drawback, as already mentioned by previous speakers: One can scarce in no case with the shoe or even wear without socks because it scrubs very uncomfortable. That is very unfortunate, since one even for short pants can not wear socks without him, what indeed rather not look so beautiful. But otherwise all around recommendable.
