CAUTION: This DVD recorder is described as "retail" when there was not the SATA cables, for against it was well into the brand box with 4 screws, paper manual (very brief), CD with NERO 10 + Essentials Power2Go 7 + E + E-Green-Hammer + Asus Firmware Update (not connection) + Quick Install Guide (the same, ridiculous, than the one in the box). The installation is no problem (immediately recognized by Windows 7). Operation: PERFECT! DVD read: a real pleasure, completely silent, fast and accurate (Chapters break). DVD burning: a very light noise, but how fast! Perfect result. Only flaw: it is not "Light Scribe" (but for the price ... eh). Conclusion: I highly recommend this reader / writer!
