Yes it is a bit heavy and bulky, it does not facilitate the use at first, you have to test and search a bit to catch the "hands-turn".
My advice: Do not make your first blow dry in a hurry and stress, it opens the door to nervousness and frustration. By cons, once one has well in hand, the brushing is done in two and two.
Some tips:
- Use the "strength" of the blower. Used from the bottom up, it pushes back the hair on the brush.
- When you change position (especially at first) made turn the brush "empty" to be sure that it will go in the right direction. It is easy to get wrong ... especially that the image in the mirror is reversed.
- Hold him in hand such that the button in the direction of rotation you want to be the one to which the shoot will go naturally. Otherwise, it will go on the other ... obviously. ;) If necessary, play on how to hold it.
- Unless you have long hair: the lowest heat is clearly sufficient. By the time the hairdryer, he will have taken shape and it has been smoothed. It gives shine and it's super cute.
- Give time to the bristles of the brushes to "do" ... I noticed that at the beginning, the hair does not seem well "take" in the hair brushes. But after a few uses, all is well ... very well even.
- Even with short hair or short hair, still divide the hair into sections and start with the bottom of the head. It does not really take longer and the result is worth it (sharper, more "hairdresser")
- If necessary, I use my free hand to guide the drill bit so that it snaps onto the brush. (Otherwise, it takes my cup of coffee in the morning ... necessary).
All this may sound complicated, but we made it super fast. After a single use of mine, my sister will also buy one because it is the "great, even if it's the first time, even if it is not yet awakened"
Two types of negative comments made me hesitate:
- The small brush is too big for short hair. I have a very short cut, about 2 cm and 12-13 in the back to the front. I have no worries. Very short rear I rotations (rotation upwards) and for middle I using my hand to round off the well on the brush.
- Need to dry before brushing as lack of heat and power. Are we talking the same device? As said above, the lowest heat is clearly sufficient while I made qu'essorer my hair with a towel drying and ... formatting ... 8min lap for my short hair. And I tested the hottest heat ... for me it's too hot, but it can be useful to a larger mass of hair on the brush (if long hair for example).
