The ARC works in reality still significantly more noble than in the pictures. Materials and workmanship make a valued and stable impression. The keys have a small but significant and indeed pleasant stroke. It can very well tap it. The special keys are indeed located some getting used to, but every laptop user knows that, and it is for small keyboards just normal. You come to terms with it or buys halt a larger keyboard :-)
Delivered with the keyboard:
* A practical stable protective bag made of cloth
* The (very small) radio receiver
* A set of batteries (2xAAA)
* A minimalist guide
The installation is as simple as easily: plug in the wireless receiver into an available USB slot, wait a bit, finished: the keyboard works. A driver CD is not in, nor is it required. Turns on / off the keyboard with the key combination "Fn + Esc". But even turned it consumes virtually no power when no key is pressed. The state of the keyboard and the batteries we displayed on a small LED. For storage and transport of the USB wireless receiver, there is a slot on the bottom. He is being held there magnetically.
The cursor is controlled überigens a 4-way rocker. The first appears a little unusual, but works in practice very well, and is much less space than the traditional arrow keys.
Disadvantages:
* The smooth paint surface is something very fingerprint sensitive
* The "Shift / Caps Lock" status will not be displayed
Conclusion:
I like the ARC really very good and I am fully satisfied. The small disadvantages do not justify a deduction of points, so full 5 stars.
