BRIEF:
My review is long enough, I put a conclusion for those who do not want to read everything.
CONTENTS of the box:
_the headphones
_a manual in English (not French but as the manual headset has a button for each function that is not a concern).
_a charge micro USB cable for PC (you will need a wall plug for charging on mains)
_a mini jack 3.5mm gold cable (to use the bluetooth headset off and thus without battery)
The load is fast, a little less than 3 hours. The battery holds up to 12 hours depending on the power used. We hear beeps when to recharge, with the live cable, however, can continue to use it. But not then make the calls.
DESIGN: 4/5
The helmet is black with two sober neon green stripes on the atria. The plastic surface is a material pleasant to the touch and therefore gum mat. It is foldable for easy storage (but no cover art included). He folds on metal parts that have solid air (no more). The right side has the discrete gray logo and the cancel button activates the sound. The left side is rich in buttons (not less than 5) more micro holes + + micro-USB jack. The headband is soft plastic gum (not unpleasant but less class leather or imitation leather. The atria are articulated but the design of the helmet makes them more mobile in the vertical than horizontal. The all used hard enough and holds very well but eventually heat the ears after a while (which is unique to-ear).
Level design and comfort, it is relatively successful. Not flashy at all, less fluff as other models.
The power button and the button ANC (active noise cancellation) are slide and not pressure. The buttons control the pieces and the sound level. They are fairly easy to find and the sound control buttons are on the front and embossed to find them easily.
ITS 3.5 / 5
The sound is okay. It is a bit loaded bass without that they necessarily stand comfortably. I read that the sound was rich across the spectrum, it is not entirely accurate, it is especially rich down and unrewarding at the top of the spectrum which does not make it ideal for spoken voice but nice on an action film for example. Likewise for the music, you want to bring out the low end, which can be a choice.
I advise not to set it up in volume (particularly as it will save battery) and give something just more fun on the bass.
If you listen to classical music, I highly recommend this headset because it distorts the source pull down the spectrum.
Very well suited for electro-pop as it gives its full potential on a full bass. There is frankly downright nice.
It is suitable for podcasts but it's not the best choice.
By cons it is perfect for the American series (or movies) since they often favor the background band on voice actors, there a good depth resolution and relief is obtained (I heard all the details a window that breaks).
In short, you really consider your use to choose or not to buy this helmet. In some cases, I would put 3/5 (or 2/5 for classic) and other I'd put 5/5 (including the rendering of series including streaming).
INSULATION 2/5
Frankly, the active button disolation external sound is a joke, it lights a white noise system that takes precedence over what is really listening without limit outside sounds. By cons it increases the sense of immersion.
When this mode is on, the blue of the left phone key LED stays on.
However, that's a shame because the helmet is pretty wrapping block and already a lot of sounds, means not much from the outside with the strength of the low frequencies.
So do not choose for that but know that already provides a good passive isolation.
Basically efficiency of active isolation button: 1/5
Passive isolation: 4/5 (ample but not if you are looking for a true blocking outside sound).
BLUETOOTH: 5/5
Pairing is very simple and fast (faster than on a smartphone on my pc but easy holding down the pairing button). The Bluetooth connection is then automatically and keeps well away, even through walls in my house from the central point. Beyond 10 meters as the crow flies, it begins to lose the signal. No loss of signal in the recommended distance.
It is bluetooth 4.0.
Please note that the connection is automatic but with the last used device.
CALLS:
Use the headset to make calls is really good. This is often the fault of these cheaper helmets but here the microphone does a good job, you can hear both sides. The blue light phone round button to take a call and hang up easily.
CONCLUSION:
For the price it is sold, you'll clearly for your money. This is a good headset with a convincing sound. It is relatively comfortable even with glasses. Its design is also managed and finishes are clean. The sound is quite ok but not great and the manufacturer's choice will appeal or not depending on usage.
Note that I have received this product for independent testing. I noticed that some reviews do not apply to this product but a similar product of the same brand, my comment relates well Muze headphones active noise reduction and not Muze touch to touch controls.
