I bought the multi-adapter for my Surface Pro 3.

1. The build quality is nothing to complain about. It can not compete with original accessories, but it also costs significantly less.

2. The functionality is as described. All outputs work perfectly.

3. If an adapter The color I do not care. Therefore, I have no problem with the white color. A black alternative would be nice anyway.

Conclusion: For my application (projection of the screen from the Surface Pro 3 to TVs and projectors), there was no adapter according to my research with a better price / performance ratio..
The genuine Microsoft solution with two different adapters (HDMI and VGA) costs at least twice as much.
